About Us
The Parents Are Back!
Conejo Alert is comprised of parents, educators and concerned citizens who believe that our students' education have been compromised by a radical ideology. We believe in common sense solutions for all students to be able to grow and learn in a safe environment. We are disappointed in the lack of engagement by members of the current school board who ignore our reasonable requests and concerns. Conejo strives for the inclusion of all parents in their child’s education.
Get Involved!
We are always looking for volunteers to help. Getting the word out to our community to remove the current board that votes 5-0 on everything is pivotal. There are currently three seats up for election and it is important that the right candidates are elected. Those candidates are Joelle Mancuso CVUSD Trustee for area 2, Karen Meyer CVUSD Trustee for area 3 and Sophia DeDomenico CVUSD Trustee for area 4.
Mission Statement
Conejo Alert is here to promote parental rights within the schools and the school board. Our belief is that the school board trustees and administration are here to serve the students as well as the parents. We are against any trustee or administration forcing policies to pursue an ideology that we don’t agree with. We believe that school should be about academics instead of social ideology. Conejo Alert strongly believes in an open and respectful debate to resolve our differences.

The Newport-Mesa School District is investigating a teacher after she posted a video admitting that she encouraged her students to pledge allegiance to a gay pride flag after she removed the American flag from her classroom.
